In the fall of 2004, two U.S. Marine reinforced regimental combat teams
—the rough equivalent of a division—wrested Fallujah from 4,000 diehard jihadist insurgents in what proved to be the costliest, most intense battle of the entire Iraq War (2003-2011).
The Battle of Fallujah was the biggest battle of the Iraq War yet many don't know about the battle itself, let alone a significant day in this battle.
It marked some of the fiercest fighting the U.S. military had seen in some thirty years.
We are a sub-site to the non-profit organization Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, Inc.(CFSRF) to bring recognition to every one lost during the Iraq & Afghanistan War
